　　At 10:30 a.m. on March 9, local time, a grand groundbreaking ceremony was held for the factory construction project of Weiguang (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hangzhou Weiguang Electronic Co., Ltd. Attending the ceremony were Chen Rugen, Secretary of the Linping District Party Committee of Hangzhou City, the heads of the District Party Committee Office, Economic Information and Science and Technology Bureau, Commerce Bureau, Development Zone Industrial Investment Promotion Bureau, and other representatives. Mr. Sermpong Sukkho, Director of the Amata City Industrial Zone Administration Bureau, and Zhao Bin, President of Thai-Chinese Rayong Industrial Zone, Qiu Ye, Chairman of Oriental Professional Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd., Chen Jianming, General Manager of Atossa Catering Equipment (Thailand) Co., Ltd., as well as Chen Jiabao, reporter of Xinhua News Agency Bangkok Branch, and many other heads of brother enterprises in the industrial zone attended the ceremony. Together, they witnessed this significant moment in history.

　　Chairman He Ping stated in his speech that this project is a significant initiative for the company in response to the "Belt and Road" strategy, actively contributing to the establishment of a new dual-cycle development pattern integrating domestic and international growth. Due to the impact of the pandemic, the preliminary work of the project has been entrusted to the Thai-Chinese Rayong Industrial Zone, the design unit, the construction unit, and the supervisory unit. He expressed gratitude to these units for their dedication. At the same time, a warm welcome was extended to Secretary Chen and his delegation from the Linping District Committee who traveled a long distance. He sincerely thanked the District Committee and Government for their longstanding care and support for the development of Weiguang.

　　Weiguang Thailand project covers an area of 78.36 acres, with a total construction area of 63,735 square meters. An investment of $25 million is planned, aiming to produce 8 million motors and fans annually. The completion of the project is expected to significantly enhance the company's competitiveness and profitability, yielding considerable economic and social benefits.

　　Chairman He emphasized the importance of all parties involved in the project adhering to laws and regulations, standardizing construction procedures, and ensuring quality and progress. He expressed hope that the Industrial Zone Management Authority would continue to support the project. The company is committed to implementing a new development philosophy, actively shouldering social responsibilities, and promoting high-quality and sustainable development of the enterprise.

In his speech, Mr. Zhao said that as a leader in the fans and motors industry in China and even around the world, Weiguang has forward-looking vision and courage; the project took only a few months from project establishment to construction, which is enough to prove Weiguang’s great determination and high efficiency, President Zhao firmly believes that upon completion and commencement of operations, the project will align more closely with international standards, adeptly navigate the increasingly complex and dynamic global landscape, and efficiently expand its reach into global markets. As representatives of the industrial park, the commitment remains steadfast to continue providing excellent service to Chinese-funded enterprises, ensuring their peace of mind and relentless progress forward.
